Siba Sawt-System est le fruit d’une quinzaine d’année de recherches musicales, d'un retour aux sources de Aziz Konkrite dans sa région natale, et d'une longue période de confinement. "Siba" pour anarchie, "Sawt" pour son et "System" pour l’idée d’une sono mondiale : héritée de luttes historiques, de la culture populaire et du folklore marocain, ici la musique contestataire se mêle aux racines nord africaines de l’artiste. Enfant du hip-hop et de la culture DIY, il puise son inspiration dans des 45 tours qu'il chine et archive lors des ses voyages à moto à travers le Maroc, amassés dans son home-studio au fil des années. Le résultat : un voyage dans les traditions musicales des musiques Chaâbi, Aïta, Raggada, Amarg, Gnaoua, aux allures futuristes, réinventée et taillée pour les dancefloors, à mettre entre les mains de tous les DJs !

Siba Sawt-System is the result of about fifteen years of musical research, a return to Aziz Konkrite's roots in his native region, and a long period of confinement. "Siba" stands for anarchy, "Sawt" for sound, and "System" for the concept of a global sound system: inherited from historical struggles, popular culture, and Moroccan folklore, here, protest music blends with the North African roots of the artist. As a child of hip-hop and DIY culture, he draws inspiration from the 45 RPM records he scavenges and archives during his motorcycle journeys throughout Morocco, accumulated in his home studio over the years. The result is a journey through the musical traditions of Chaâbi, Aïta, Raggada, Amarg, Gnaoua music, with a futuristic twist, reinvented and tailored for the dancefloors, ready to be placed in the hands of all DJs!
